What do we do?
We assist in providing for people in need by supporting and funding practical and sustainable projects with the purpose of alleviating poverty and suffering in vulnerable communities throughout South Africa. Together with the corporate sector and other interested parties, we strive to make a difference in the country by starting with those who cannot help themselves. By initiating and sustaining projects that create maximum impact in the long term, we strive to create a ripple-effect throughout the continent.

How do we operate?
By acting as an enabler or facilitator, To Care works in partnership with various companies to raise funds for vulnerable communities. We make use of existing social welfare structures and non-profit organisations to ensure that the funds reach the communities directly for optimum effect.
What are our core functions?
Our main purpose is to raise funds and coordinate donor contributions, ensuring that these are channeled directly to care for people in need.
Our main aims are to:
- form strategic alliances with corporates to ensure accountability in the use of corporate social investment funds.
- facilitate donor contributions from anywhere in the world for the upliftment of disadvantaged communities.
- use existing social welfare structures to ensure that time, talents and money are channeled directly to care for people most in need.
- support organisations that care for the elderly; orphaned and abandoned children; and communities in need.
- contribute towards skills development, capacity-building, empowerment and job creation.
- support programmes that care for people infected with HIV/AIDS, as well as those on drug and alcohol rehabilitation programmes.
